Sean Joo

Sean Joo is an assistant professor of educational psychology and an assistant scientist of the Achievement and Assessment Institute (AAI) at the University of Kansas. He received his Ph.D. in educational measurement and statistics from the University of South Florida in 2017. Before joining KU, he worked at Educational Testing Service (ETS) as an associate research scientist. He also worked as a postdoctoral research fellow at the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven) in Belgium. His research interests lie in the development and application of statistical methods with focuses on single-case experimental design, multilevel modeling, and item response theory.
