Biography

Patricia Lowe is a Professor in the School Psychology program at the University of Kansas. She earned her doctoral degree in School Psychology with a Clinical Child emphasis from Texas A&M University. Prior to joining the faculty ranks at the University of Kansas, she completed a pre- and a post-doctoral internship at the Warm Springs Counseling Center and Training Institute in Boise, Idaho. Professor Lowe is a licensed school psychologist in the State of Kansas and a licensed psychologist in the State of Idaho. She is also a National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) nationally certified school psychologist (NCSP). Her teaching interests are in the areas of developmental psychopathology, behavioral and personality assessment, and ethics. Her research interests are in the areas of anxiety in children, adolescents, and college students; behavioral and personality assessment; measurement; and prevention. She is an Associate Editor for the Journal of Psychoeducational Assessment. Professor Lowe specializes in anxiety in children, adolescents, and college students, behavioral and personality assessment, measurement, and prevention.

Patricia Lowe has served or is currently serving on national committees at the national level, including the American Psychological Association and the National Association of School Psychologists.
